EN — Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect:

• Account data — name, email address, and authentication identifiers (we use a third‑party authentication provider, Firebase Authentication).

• Provider data — for Providers who claim a Listing: business name, contact details, business location, opening hours, descriptions, prices, photos, and a map location (pin) you set yourself.

• Listing source data — for unclaimed Listings, limited factual business information that may originate from public sources.

• Usage and technical data — IP address, device/browser information, pages viewed, and similar log data.

• Search queries — text you enter into the AI discovery search.

• Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 7. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data (e.g., health, religion, biometrics) and ask you not to submit it.

EN — We collect personal data: (a) directly from you when you create an account, claim or edit a Listing, search, or contact us; (b) automatically through your use of the Service (log and cookie data); and (c) for unclaimed Listings, from publicly available sources of factual business information.

EN — Under the PDPA we process personal data only on a lawful basis. Our purposes and bases include:

• To provide and operate the Service (accounts, listings, search) — performance of a contract and/or legitimate interest.

• To maintain a useful discovery directory (including limited factual data for unclaimed Listings) — legitimate interest, balanced against your rights, with an opt‑out (see Section 11).

• To improve and secure the Service, prevent abuse, and for analytics — legitimate interest.

• To comply with law and respond to lawful requests — legal obligation.

• For optional communications or features that require it — consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

5. AI Search Queries / คำค้นหาในระบบ AI

EN — When you use AI discovery search, we may store the text of your query to operate, debug, secure, and improve the search. These logs are accessible to authorised administrators only and are retained for a limited period of [RETENTION — e.g. 90 days], after which they are deleted or anonymised. We do not use your queries to identify you beyond what is necessary to operate the Service.

EN — Listing pages are public. For unclaimed Listings, we display area‑level location only and withhold the full street address and precise coordinates. For claimed Listings, the Provider controls what is shown and may publish a full address and map location. SiamNode does not display third‑party star ratings or reviews on its profile pages.

EN — We may disclose personal data to: service providers / data processors who help us run the Service (e.g., cloud hosting, authentication, email, mapping) under appropriate agreements; authorities or third parties where required by law or to protect rights and safety. We do not sell your personal data.

EN — Sub-processors we use. The service providers we currently rely on — all located outside Thailand — are: Google Cloud Platform (cloud hosting and infrastructure); Supabase (database hosting); Firebase Authentication (a Google service — account sign-in); Google Cloud Storage (file storage, e.g., uploaded photos and payment slips); Google Maps / Places (map and directions features); Google Gemini (AI processing of your search-query text and the generation of summaries); and Resend (sending transactional emails, which may contain contact details). Each processes personal data on our behalf under appropriate data-processing terms, and only as needed to provide the Service. Because these providers are outside Thailand, the cross-border safeguards in Section 9 apply.

9. Cross‑Border Transfers / การส่งข้อมูลข้ามพรมแดน

EN — Some of our service providers may be located outside Thailand, so your personal data may be transferred abroad. Where this happens, we take steps required by the PDPA to ensure an adequate level of protection or other lawful safeguards.

Lawyer note: confirm the appropriate PDPA cross‑border mechanism for the providers used.

10. Data Retention / การเก็บรักษาข้อมูล

EN — We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Search‑query logs follow the period in Section 5. Account data is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC). EN — We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to handle any incident appropriately and as required by law.
